Interdisciplinary Residency Scholarships in Germany, Akademie Schloss

Akademie Schloss announces residency scholarships in Stuttgart, Germany. Annually, 65 fellowships of 06 to 12 months duration will be awarded to artists and scientists from around the world.

The objective of these scholarships is to promote the exchange of disciplines, from art to science.

In addition, beneficiaries will receive a stipend of €1,200, travel aid. As well as accommodation, study workshop, resources for creativity, among others.

Additionally, the scholarships are supported by the Commissioner for Culture and Media of the Federal Government of Germany and the state capital of Stuttgart.

What are the eligibility conditions?

These are the requirements to participate:

• Artists, scientists, cultural professionals.
• Of any nationality.
• However, it should be considered that higher education students who are registered in institutions cannot apply.
• Additionally, you can apply in groups.
• They may be pursuing a postgraduate degree.

Registration, interdisciplinary residency in Germany

To apply for aid for residence in Germany, you must complete the registration process.

Jury

The selection of the scholarship recipients will be carried out by an international jury. They will make their decision based on quality aspects of the work sent by the applicants.

Benefits of interdisciplinary residency in Germany

Those who are selected will be able to access:

• A furnished apartment to live and work. Includes electricity, water and heating at the Akademie Schloss Solitude.
• A monthly stipend of €1,200.
• Travel assistance, which will be provided only once.
• In addition to creative resources.
• Health insurance for trainees outside the European Union.
• As well as a transportation subsidy to transport the materials and instruments to Stuttgart.

Rules

Each scholarship recipient must:

• Spend at least two-thirds of your stay during the scholarship period at the Akademie.
• They will also have to reside permanently in Stuttgart for the duration of the aid. In this way, you are required to register with local authorities.
