The university also offers academic scholarships and English language support, as well as housing and medical services.

Scholarship Overview

This scholarship has been established to support international students enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at the University of Technology Sydney to pursue a challenging degree program.

Who is eligible to apply?

To be eligible for the scholarship, shortlisted applicants must be

• Be an international student (not an Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian permanent resident) at the time of application.
  Meet all entry requirements for their chosen program.
• Commence full-time study at the school.
• You must have completed an Australian Year 12 or Australian Year 12 equivalent high school diploma and have been admitted to UTS on the basis of that diploma within three years prior to
• commencing your studies at UTS.
• You must have achieved an overall grade of 85% or equivalent in a UTS-accredited Bachelor's degree program.
• Each applicant must apply through the UTS Online Scholarship Application Form to be approved.

Remarks: Students enrolled in UTS transnational programs are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Selection Procedure

Scholarships will be awarded to the highest ranked applicant based on the applicant's academic performance in the selected UTS degree program and the applicant's response to the following question 'In what ways do you plan to make a positive contribution to your community through the UTS degree program?'

Scholarships are awarded solely at the discretion of the Scholarships Committee, please refer to Section 7 of the Award Conditions for further details.
