Stanford University Offers Postgraduate Degrees for young talents

The Knight-Hennessy Scholarships at Stanford University offer master's degrees for young talents. Each year up to 100 high-achieving students, independent thinkers, with great leadership and civic orientation skills; They will receive funds to pay for graduate studies.

Who is eligible to participate?

Individuals who earned a bachelor's degree in 2017 or later years will be eligible. In that sense:

  • Citizens from any part of the world can participate. The objective of the call is to invite the best students in the world, regardless of the country of their origin.
  • In the event that the degree is from a country other than the United States; it is necessary to have an equivalence. This refers to a university and/or institution of recognized prestige.

What does Stanford look for in a scholar?

The university is looking for people who:

How to take part?

The application will be made online, directly on the call website. There, basic biographical and demographic details must be completed, as well as explanations of activities and interests.

On the other hand, the requirements include:

  • Unofficial or authorized transcript of academic performance at the university.
  • You must be fluent in English (listening, reading, speaking, and writing) to study at Stanford. The minimum TOEFL score for most graduate programs at Stanford is 100iBT or 600PBT. In addition, the program accepts IELTS and PTE.
  • Curriculum vitae. In which you specify intellectual, personal and professional background and achievements. It is recommended to write one page for each decade of experience.
  • Two (2) letters of recommendation. It is recommended that you select two (2) people who know the candidate well, whom you trust, and who will help the candidate be successful.

Funding includes payment of tuition, a stipend, related academic expenses, and additional financial support available.

On the other hand, the program organizers will invite around 170 finalists to visit Stanford, all expenses paid, during the immersion weekend on March 1 and 2, 2024.
