Javeriana University Announces Scholarships and Admissions for 2024 How to Apply

Learn more about the various benefits and assistance announced by Javeriana University next year.

With an investment of P220 million, Javeriana University has announced 280 new scholarships starting from the first semester of next year.

Aside from that, the university is offering 2,386 "Becas Ingresa" scholarships to help incoming freshmen who do not have the financial means to pay for the entire semester, which cover 50% of the tuition.

Similarly, Band and Orchestra Scholarships are awarded to applicants to musicology programs, including string, wind and percussion players, who are unable to pay full tuition for financial reasons.

We also offer Academic Excellence Scholarships for Bachiller Destacados, Bachiller Destacados de Corregios Accordosi, and Fei Alegria, which cover up to 80% of tuition.

We also have the "Ada Byron" scholarship, which starts the next semester and pays 100% of tuition until graduation, to encourage women to enter the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) fields.

There are also scholarships to continue studies, such as the Becca Rectoria Scholarship, which meets the requirements of regular undergraduate students who do not have the financial means to continue their studies; forgivable loans for master's and doctoral studies; as well as 32 agreements with institutions and foundations to help students in different semesters to successfully begin or complete their careers.

In addition, the university pays up to 80 percent of tuition for children of full-time faculty or administrators while they are in school.

The university has also signed an agreement with Lumni to fund up to 85 percent of tuition on a long-term basis. This benefit is available to students who are admitted in their first semester (for most undergraduate programs), are in good academic standing, and have special financial circumstances. This allows students to repay most of their student loans after completing their studies and finding employment.

Universidad Javeriana also offers a variety of financial aid benefits, including a "Javeriana Family" discount of 15 to 50 percent if a parent or sibling is studying at the university at the same time; a 10 percent discount for undergraduate graduates if they are enrolled in a graduate program at Universidad Javeriana; agreements with the Ministry of National Defense, the Secretariat for Social Inclusion, and the Colombian Association for the Advancement of Science; and a Jesuit school graduates are offered a discount.
