Douglas College of Canada created the international scholarship program for foreign students who wish to continue their undergraduate studies in the American country. The institution was founded in 1970, it is the largest public university in British Columbia offering undergraduate programs and general arts and sciences courses.

The young people who are part of the aforementioned study house receive the best academic and work training, with the sole objective of strengthening the knowledge to face problems and their solutions in the professional and personal sphere.

This award depends on the student's performance throughout the academic year. A maximum of 5 eligible recipients will be chosen each academic year. Scholarships will be divided equally between the fall and winter semesters.

Who can participate?:

All Latin American students can apply for Douglas College Scholarships in Canada.

Scholarship endowment:

The scholarship covers up to 7,000 CAD of tuition fees.

Conditions that participants must meet:

To qualify for the Douglas College International Student Scholarship, the candidate must meet all of the following requirements:

• Required language: English
• To enter, applicants must present a high school diploma with a minimum GPA equal to 60% or higher.
• Applicants must meet English language requirements (TOEFL iBT – minimum score 83, IELTS – minimum overall score 6.5).

(1) After receiving an admission offer from the university, apply for the scholarship by clicking the “Apply Now” button below to download and complete the application form.

(2) Submit the documents required below to the following address:

• Fill out and sign the application form.
• Scan of passport and study permit (if applicable).
• Proof of graduation with certified original copies if in a language other than English.
• Language test.
• A non-refundable receipt for the 100 CAD application fee. Pay on the Douglas College Flywire payment portal: douglascollege.flywire.com.
