UNIL Masters Scholarships in Switzerland for all

The University of Lausanne, UNIL, in Switzerland, invites international students to participate in its master's scholarships. About ten (10) scholarships will be awarded for a total of CHF 1,600 for about ten (10) months.

Master's degrees included in UNIL scholarships

These grants include various areas of mastery. However, postgraduate studies in:

  • Medicine.
  • Education.
  • Laws.
  • Criminal laws.
  • Sciences in physical education and sports didactics.
  • Health sciences.
  • Among others.

Eligibility Criteria, UNIL Scholarships

Candidates who:

  • They have obtained a diploma from a foreign university that is equivalent to the UNIL degree. This must be before the master's degree in Switzerland.
  • Be distinguished during your studies, especially through brilliant academic results.
  • They must also have a minimum C1 level in English or French. This is according to the language that predominates in the chosen master's degree.
  • Not having been registered at the university in the past.
  • Finally, have paid about CHF 200.00 administrative fee.

Those who:

  • Be international students who have already started a master's program at UNIL. Or those who are in high school years.

How to apply?

To submit an application for the University of Lausanne scholarships you need:

  • Application registration, complete and signed.
  • A passport size photograph, in JPEG format.
  • Also, a copy of your high school diploma. If it is not in German, French, Italian or English language.
  • A copy of the program carried out in the bachelor's study.
  • A resume.
  • A copy of the official certificate of language knowledge. For English, TOEFL or IELTS. While for French, it will be DALF or DELF. The minimum level is B2 for all courses.
  • As well as a copy of your passport or identity document.
  • Proof of payment of the University subscription fee of CHF 200.00.

Once these documents are ready, they will be sent to:

All of the above documents must be completed on a computer and signed by the candidate.

Benefits

These University of Lausanne scholarships have partial coverage. They cover a stipend of CHF 1,600 per month, for a period of ten (10) months until they complete the master's degree. The total duration is one and a half and two (2) years, depending on the degree.

According to official information, the cost of living in Switzerland is CHF 2,000 per month. In this way, it is considered that the scholarship does not cover all of the student's needs. Thus, it is recommended to have personal resources that complement the monthly budget.

In addition, the scholarships will exempt the payment of course registration costs, with the exception of CHF 80.00, which is required each semester.

The call is open until November 1, 2023. The selected candidates will be known at the beginning of April
